  • Liked my old RX 350 Better - 2010 Lexus RX 350

I agree with people here who say to stick with prior model of RX. We miss our comfortable seat - this one has much harder seat. My back hurts after sitting in this seat - in my previous RX I was fine. We miss arm rests, the sun glass holder, the lights by home link and the entire car to be frank. The auto lights include the brights and for us the brights go off when we need them on and the solution is to turn off auto lights totally. If you have the older RX and are considering this as an upgrade keep the old one! Lexus needs to rethink this RX and add back in what they removed. Leather quality and wood in older models was much better than the 2010.

  • You have to be kidding - 2010 Lexus RX 350

I purchased a 2010 RX350 in Dec 09. Car built same month. I noticed that in making a change with the engine manifold etc the car warms up faster than earlier model. But, driving into a driveway like into a gas station the car rocks like a canoe on the ocean. The improved suspension is a joke. I have 19 inch wheels; I don’t know what for as I don’t have the sports edition. The car does not have the quiet smooth ride as mentioned in reviews. All in all I am disappointed in the car. You slam the driver’s door and it sounds like a car full of tin cans. I would expect this from an American car of years ago but not a new Lexus. The car sounds cheap, rides cheap, and is just an overpriced mess.

  • Unintended Acceleration Warning - 2010 Lexus RX 350

We are or have been very loyal Toyota and Lexus owners for many years. Our 2010 RX 350 was an upgrade from the 2006 IS 350. The Vehicle is a great ride except for the unintended acceleration. It came very close to tragedy 2 weeks ago on an interstate. I have heard about the Toyota problem but didnt want to believe that it would happened to our RX. There is less than 20k on the vehicle. It started acting up a few months ago, it would accelerate over set cruise speed by 10 miles hr but wasnt life threatening, braking stop the acceleration. This happen twice with me & twice with my wife until the brake didnt stop the problem acceleration. She couldnt get it stop by jabbing the brakes hard,

  • Rough riding RX 350 - 2010 Lexus RX 350

My leased R.X. 350 2 W.D. rides like a cement truck! I have been told to carry bags of rocks in the back to improve the ride. I have a lemon and Lexus people say it is not broken and rides as it was designed. Do yourself a favor and never own this Lexus model We hate to drive this car, never again!

  • Poor Quality From Canada - 2010 Lexus RX 350
    By -

When we ordered our 2010 RX we were assured it would come from Japan, all of our previous 5 Lexus were Japan built. When the Canada manufactured RX arrived, dealer was surprised but we took the car. First thing that happened was at about 100 miles the front bumper popped off right at the headlights. Sure it was loose at delivery. Returned to dealer and they wanted to charge to repair the damage. Of course that did not fly and they fixed it no charge. Now at 2000 miles bumper is completely loose again just from normal driving. Also waiting on Lexus Customer Service to respond. In addition to above hood, door and car body are not aligned, build quality poor. Be sure your VIN starts with J.

  • Unsafe vehicle - avoid at any cost - 2010 Lexus RX 350
    By -

Have had this car for a month. While it drives better than our previous 2007 Rx this vehicle has a fatal design flaw - it rolls back on even slight incline. The dealership says that it is normal and they cannot do anything about that. The previous RX did not do that and so does not our much cheaper 2007 Civic. The car is unsafe to operate. Avoid.
